Project Controls & Central Scheduler

Artform | architectural fabrication
Oklahoma City, OK

Artform fabricates high-end, custom architectural building envelope systems: facade panels, rainscreen cladding, metal composite systems. Our work is precise, complex, and heavily dependent on field-verified dimensions from active construction sites. Most of our projects can't move forward until upstream trades finish their work. This role manages these dependencies.

We're hiring a Project Controls & Central Scheduler to own Artform's master schedule, lead our CRD (Customer Ready Date) tracking system, and serve as the single source of truth for schedule status, readiness, and risk across all active projects. When something is about to go wrong, you notice and flag it before it becomes a crisis.

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Oklahoma City, OK. In addition to managing the schedule, the Scheduler will drive operational improvements through systems integration using AI and other technology tools.

What you'll own-

Master Schedule

  • Own and maintain Artform's master schedule in Smartsheet across all active projects
  • Standardize schedule structure and maintain consistency across hundreds of tasks and long-duration projects

CRD Management

  • Track CRD-Intent vs. CRD-Verified status across all active work tickets
  • Maintain a confidence rating (Green / Yellow / Red) for every CRD, with documented evidence
  • Identify CRD risk at 90 / 60 / 30-day horizons

Early Risk Detection & Escalation

  • Monitor upstream trade progress and detect schedule drift early
  • Remove subjectivity from schedule decisions so risk is visible to the whole team
  • Escalate Yellow/Red conditions to Operations with evidence and solutions

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Partner with Project Management, Design & Engineering, Production, and Accounting
  • Act as the neutral authority on schedule validity

System Development

  • Refine Artform's centralized production control system as we grow
  • Improve templates, workflows, and CRD tracking methods
  • Support documentation and team training

Who succeeds in this role-

Strong background fits:

  • Project controls or scheduling in construction, fabrication, or manufacturing
  • Large GC scheduling (controls side, not project management)
  • Complex dependency environments: aerospace, BIM-heavy coordination, industrial planning

Required traits:

  • Systems thinker who builds repeatable rules
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Relentless follow up
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Detail-oriented enough to maintain hundreds of tasks

Why Artform

We fabricate work that ends up on the exterior of significant buildings. It's visible, permanent, and technically demanding. We're at an inflection point in our growth, investing in the operational systems that will let us scale without losing the quality we're known for. This role is central to that investment.

You'll have control of a system that the whole company depends on, direct access to leadership, and room to shape how Artform manages production controls for years to come.

Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, and 401(k) with company match. Full details provided during the interview process.
