Project Coordinator
Location: Jackson, MI (Hybrid: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday; flexibility required)
Overview
The Project Coordinator supports development and project managers in delivering utility-scale energy projects, including wind, solar, battery storage, and natural gas assets. This role involves coordinating project activities, tracking progress, supporting permitting and documentation processes, and assisting in cost and schedule management.
Key Responsibilities
Support multiple project/development managers with day-to-day coordination of energy projects
Track project timelines, milestones, and action items to ensure schedules remain accurate and up to date
Attend meetings, document key discussions, and follow up on outstanding tasks
Conduct research on project timelines, costs, and resource requirements to support planning and forecasting
Assist in preparing and organizing permitting documentation and project plans
Enter, manage, and route project documentation through systems such as Unifier for approvals
Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and external stakeholders to gather required project information
Support site evaluation efforts, including reviewing land for potential development or leasing opportunities
Assist with occasional field visits to project sites to support project assessment and coordination
Required Qualifications
1+ year of experience in project coordination or project support (any industry)
Basic understanding of project management processes (scheduling, tracking, documentation)
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Ability to conduct research and synthesize information for project planning
Strong communication skills for working with cross-functional teams
