If selected, you will be required to sign a Pathways Participant Agreement. The Recent Graduates Program is a dynamic, one-year developmental program that promotes careers in the Federal Government to recent graduates. If selected, you will be required to sign a Pathways Participant Agreement and serve a trial period. Recent Graduates are required to complete IDPs within 45 days of their appointments. Recent Graduates are eligible for non-competitive conversion to term or permanent positions in the competitive service, provided that they have met all Program requirements. This is an Excepted Service appointment. To be eligible for conversion to the competitive service, the Recent Graduate must: be a U.S. citizen; successfully complete all Recent Graduate Program requirements; meet the OPM Qualification Standard for the position to which the Recent Graduate may be converted to; and maintain acceptable performance under the agency's approved performance management system.
