Program Specialist Opportunity available in Baltimore, MD. - This is a temporary position with the potential to become a direct hire. Hours are Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm, fully onsite position.
Responsibilities
Work with Assistant Director to oversee assigned training programs, including budgets, administration and reporting requirements.
Establish and cultivate relationships with key representatives at various educational facilities.
Work closely collaboration with various members to design, develop, implement, and evaluate training programs.
Establish relationships and liaison with contracted educational providers and individual instructors to evaluate and monitor the quality and performance of programs.
Manage grant program performance including student enrollment, program completion, instructor/vendor performance, curriculum development, and expenditure of funds
Ensure accuracy and timely submission of program records and reports to appropriate departments including preparing statistical reports.
Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Training, or equivalent years of work experience required, Master’s degree preferred
Minimum three (3) years experience in adult education, training or workforce development required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Previous experience in Educational Pathways, Career Coaching
Excellent organizational, recordkeeping, interpersonal and communications skills both oral and written and the ability to work independently.
Ability to work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends required
