ResponsibilitiesThe Program Manager owns portfolio and project management of the Finance Shared Services pillar and is accountable for ensuring the pillar invests in highest-ROI work and delivers it predictably. This role runs intake, scoring, prioritization, and portfolio governance across the Finance Shared Serves departments in scope; manages the multi-project delivery plan; and protects the pillar's capacity for the initiatives with the strongest value cases. The Program Manager is the discipline layer between strategy and delivery, turning a steady stream of demand into a sequenced, ROI-ranked portfolio that Finance leaders trust.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the pillar's portfolio end-to-end: intake, scoring, prioritization, sequencing, capacity planning, and lifecycle reporting.
- Operate a structured, ROI-led prioritization model using standardized rate cards, value levers, and the program's ROI calculator; ensure every initiative carries a defensible business case before it consumes pillar capacity.
- Partner with the Director and Finance leaders to set portfolio thresholds (minimum ROI, payback period, strategic value) and enforce them at intake and stage gates.
- Track realized vs. forecasted ROI through go-live and post-implementation; close the loop on value realization and feed lessons learned back into prioritization.
- Identify and drive continuous improvements to how the pillar operates, scales, and reports.
