JOB TITLE:
Program Coordinator – Individual Placement Coordinator
JOB PURPOSE:
The Program Coordinator manages all aspects of the Wyoming Conservation Corps' AmeriCorps Individual Placement program, including member recruitment, hiring, training, supervision, and evaluation. This position serves as the primary liaison between AmeriCorps members and host site partners (government agencies and nonprofits), ensuring high-quality service experiences, regulatory compliance, and achievement of program objectives. The Program Coordinator is responsible for member development, maintaining required documentation and reporting, coordinating training and professional development opportunities, and fostering strong partnerships with community organizations throughout Wyoming
This position is office based, with required travel for member orientation and field visits throughout the summer.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position is primarily office based, but will provide hands on instruction to members during field orientation and may provide technical support on field projects as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree Environment & Natural Resources or a related field.
Experience: 1 year work-related experience is required, which may include: Experience recruiting, training, or supervising young adults; Conservation corps crew leadership or program support; Youth or young adult program coordination; Nonprofit program management; Environmental education or outdoor recreation programming; Student services, career development, or experiential learning coordination.
Substitution: Relevant professional experience may substitute for formal education on a year-for-year basis. Four years of progressively responsible experience in program coordination, AmeriCorps administration, conservation corps operations, or related fields may qualify in place of a bachelor's degree.
Required licensure, certification, registration or other requirements:
Valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) compliant with the Driving for University Business SAP.

WORK LOCATION:
On-campus: This position provides vital support to campus customers, and the successful candidate must be available to work and perform essential job functions on campus, understanding our location is at 7,220 feet above sea level.
