Program Control Specialist

MANTECH is seeking a motivated, acquisitions focused, and customer-oriented Project Control Specialist to help support our current Marine Corps Contract in Stafford, VA.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and monitor cost, schedule, performance, and risk metrics associated with Program of Record (PoR) capabilities.

  • Support the government customer with program schedule development and maintenance, budgeting, performance metric establishment and monitoring, risk assessments, briefings, and general communications related to program activities.

  • Support program office documentation development activities including drafting, reviewing, and updating documents, presentations, and correspondence.

  • Coordinate with sponsor offices, executive agents, internal and external partners, and integrators as directed by the program office.

  • Support program office risk management, research and development efforts, and interoperability testing and integration activities.

  • Assist with technical studies and analyze current and future requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree and at least 4 years of experience supporting DoD programs and ensuring adherence to master plans and schedules, and developing solutions to program problems. Additional 2 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.

  • Knowledge of DoD/USMC procedures and policies in support of acquisition, logistics, and fielding activities including the preparation of military acquisition documentation, technical documentation, and data entry in spreadsheets and databases.

  • Expertise in developing and managing DoD Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Associate Program Management Professional (CAPM) or DAU Level 1 certification in Program Management.

  • Marine Corps cyber security familiarity as well as knowledge of DoD/USMC procedures and policies in support of acquisition, logistics, and fielding activities to include the preparation of military acquisition documentation, technical documentation, and data entry in spreadsheets and databases.

  • Ability to lead analytical efforts focused on highly complex and mission specific operational problems.

  • Ability to direct and collaborate with technical teams on operational and/or developmental projects throughout the system life cycle (development of requirements to final delivery)

Clearance Required:

  • Must have an active DoD TS/SCI Clearance
