Job Title: Production Trainer
Pay: $26/hr
1st Shift: 04:00am - 02:30pm (Mon-Thurs)
2nd Shift: 02:30pm-01:00am (Mon-Thurs)
Location: Tigard, OR
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver hands-on and classroom training in assembly and production areas
- Assist in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of training programs
- Introduce and support new production processes, sequences, and best practices
- Maintain accurate training records, including attendance, progress tracking, testing, and certifications
- Monitor trainee performance and provide constructive feedback to support development
- Ensure all work is completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with established procedures
- Apply established work methods to routine production scenarios and escalate complex issues as needed
Qualifications & Experience
- Hands-on experience in assembly of digital and analog circuits/devices
- Demonstrated ability to lead, train, or provide direction to team members
- Strong understanding of product assembly techniques and manufacturing processes
- Proficiency using standard hand tools for bio-instrument or bio-device assembly
- High level of manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Skills & Competencies
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines across multiple projects
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to engage all levels of the organization
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Effective problem-solving skills for routine production challenges
- Ability to provide constructive feedback and coaching to trainees and team members
- Strong organizational, basic math, and documentation skills
- Proficiency with standard manufacturing and office equipment
Regulatory & Work Requirements
- Compliance with U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) regulations and company policies
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Successful completion of pre-employment reading comprehension assessment
- Reliable attendance and flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate degree or technical training in Electrical or Mechanical Technology preferred
- Experience in the manufacturing of implantable medical devices or similar regulated products is a plus

- Fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment
- May involve a matrixed and geographically diverse organization
- Requires flexibility to rotate across multiple workstations or job functions
