The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating production associates to meet or exceed operational goals in safety, quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction. This role ensures efficient daily operations by managing production schedules, maintaining equipment performance, enforcing safety and sanitation standards, and fostering a positive, accountable team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Safety & Compliance
- Enforce all safety and sanitation regulations across the production floor
- Ensure safe operation of equipment and proper use of PPE and procedures
- Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards
- Promote a strong safety culture and proactive risk prevention mindset
Production & Operations
- Supervise and coordinate production associates in can/end manufacturing operations
- Monitor production schedules, work orders, and operational charts to meet customer requirements
- Plan daily work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to achieve output targets
- Ensure production, quality, and maintenance systems operate efficiently and reliably
- Maintain high-speed production performance and operational efficiency
Quality & Continuous Improvement
- Inspect materials, finished products, and equipment to identify defects or malfunctions
- Implement effective problem-solving and corrective actions
- Ensure adherence to production and quality standards
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence
Leadership & Team Management
- Coordinate with supervisors and management to ensure smooth operational flow
- Train and develop associates on equipment, safety, and production procedures
- Address employee concerns and escalate issues to management when necessary
- Foster a positive team environment while maintaining accountability and performance standards

Qualifications:
