Production Supervisor

Job Description:

Akkodis is seeking a Production Supervisor for a 12+ months Contract position with a client located in Bothell, WA

Pay Range: $40/hr. - $50/hr. (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Accomplishes manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching and enforcing policies, and procedures.
• Maintains workflow by monitoring steps of the process; setting processing variables; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; developing reporting procedures and systems; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.
• Hold all team members fully accountable for their role in the final product in its quality and the efficiency with which it is produced.
• Conduct regular audits of productivity and quality to identify any shortcomings and maintain the high standard your team adheres to.
• Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data, answering questions and responding to intercompany requests.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources, maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Education/Experience:

• Associates degree in technical, engineering OR a combination of higher education and a minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant field.
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in a relevant field of manufacturing
• Advanced user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) applications
• Must be very knowledgeable in assembly sequences and methodologies for manual (hands-on) assembly systems.
