Our client in Bergen County, NJ is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead their electronics assembly team overseeing SMT, through‑hole, and PCBA assembly. This role is responsible for production planning, quality, team leadership, training, and continuous improvement in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.


Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily electronics assembly operations to meet production, quality, cost, and delivery targets
  • Plan and schedule production to support demand and inventory requirements
  • Lead, train, mentor, and evaluate SMT, through‑hole, and assembly personnel
  • Ensure products are built to specifications and quality standards
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Oversee inventory accuracy and coordinate material needs with Purchasing
  • Manage preventive and routine maintenance of assembly equipment and tools
  • Maintain manufacturing records, documentation, and training records
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and workforce development efforts
  • Communicate operational, quality, and personnel issues to management


Requirements

  • Experience supervising electronics assembly or PCBA manufacturing operations
  • Experience working in a GMP‑regulated environment
  • Strong understanding of SMT and through‑hole assembly processes
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and wiring diagrams
  • Hands‑on knowledge of electronic assembly tools, equipment, and safety practices
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
  • Associate’s degree, or Technical or High school degree with relevant electronics assembly and supervisory experience
