Production Manager – Stainless Steel fabrication

2nd shift, Mon- Thurs 3 PM – 2 AM

Responsibilities

• Oversee all shop‑floor stainless‑steel manufacturing operations, ensuring production goals, quality standards, safety, and labor management are consistently met
• Lead, train, evaluate, and discipline production staff while coordinating closely with the 1st Shift Manager and Director of Manufacturing for smooth shift transitions and employee issue resolution
• Maintain production schedules, track labor hours, manage procurement needs, and ensure accurate, timely completion of all production documentation
• Monitor material availability, maintain proper raw‑material inventory levels, and address equipment, facility, and maintenance issues to support uninterrupted operations
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and communicate required engineering changes or corrections through the Director of Manufacturing

Qualifications

• The candidate must have a proven track record managing a production team of 25 or more employees, with full responsibility for hiring, training, performance management, termination decisions, and workforce growth
• A minimum of 5 years of management experience in sheet metal fabrication is required; 10 years is strongly preferred
• Hands-on experience in stainless steel fabrication
• Experience in mechanical equipment manufacturing is considered a valuable additional qualification
• Candidates with direct experience in commercial foodservice equipment fabrication a plus.

Salary: $80k – $90k
