We are working on a Production Manager position in Alameda, California, with a company that has a strong culture and a solid reputation. This is an in-office leadership role responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations, leading production teams, and coordinating closely with quality, shipping, warehouse, procurement, and inside sales.

The right person will bring production leadership experience in a manufacturing environment and a strong ability to keep operations running safely, efficiently, and on schedule. This role is focused on driving high-quality production, supporting continuous improvement, and helping build a strong, team-oriented culture on the manufacturing floor.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations and production team activities
• Coordinate with quality, shipping, warehouse, procurement, and inside sales to keep production moving effectively
• Drive safe, efficient, and high-quality production performance
• Keep schedules on track and help ensure on-time delivery
• Support continuous improvement efforts across the operation
• Promote a strong team culture and clear communication across departments

Qualifications

• Production leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with electro-mechanical assembly is strongly preferred
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, 5S, Kaizen, MRP systems, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage production flow, solve problems, and support a high-performance team environment
