Production Lead Pay:$20/hour

Production Lead Shift:8am - 4:30pm M-F (North End St. Paul)

Production LeadJob Overview:The Production Lead is responsible for coordinating daily manufacturing activities, leading production employees, and ensuring safety, quality, and productivity targets are met. This role serves as the first level of leadership on the production floor and acts as a liaison between
operators and management.

Production Lead Key Requirements:

• 2 yearsminimum production or warehouse experience
• Prior experience in a lead, trainer, or informal supervisory role preferred
• Strong understanding of production workflows, safety and quality standards
• Basic mechanical aptitude
• problem solving skills
• Basic computer skills
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Able to lift up to 50lbs
• Forklift experience
• High school diploma or GED

Production LeadJob Duties:

• Lead, coach, and support production team members during assigned shifts
• Assign daily work tasks and ensure staffing levels meet production needs
• Monitor production output to ensure schedule, quality, and efficiency goals are achieved
• Enforce safety policies, housekeeping standards, and proper use of PPE
• Troubleshoot basic production issues and escalate equipment or process problems as needed
• Train new hires and cross-train team members on equipment, processes, and work instructions
• Ensure standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions are followed
• Conduct start-of-shift meetings and communicate production priorities
• Perform quality checks and ensure defects are identified and corrected promptly
• Document production data, downtime, scrap, and labor reporting accurately
• Support continuous improvement initiatives (lean, 5S, waste reduction)
• Communicate effectively with maintenance, quality, and management teams
