Production Engineer

Are you an Engineer within the Manufacturing industry who enjoys solving problems, analyzing data, and keeping manufacturing operations running efficiently?
We're looking for a highly analytical, driven professional to take ownership of production scheduling and coordination in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who understands production processes and wants to expand their responsibilities into planning, scheduling, and operations leadership.
Direct scheduling experience is not required. We're looking for someone who understands manufacturing, is highly proficient in Excel, and thrives in an environment where priorities can change quickly.
What You'll Do
- Manage production schedules and coordinate manufacturing activities across the facility
- Analyze capacity, workflow, and production demands to keep operations running efficiently
- Work extensively with Excel, spreadsheets, and ERP systems
- Continuously adjust schedules as customer demands, materials, and production priorities change
- Communicate with operations, production, and leadership teams to ensure alignment
- Identify bottlenecks, solve problems, and improve production flow
- Track and manage multiple moving pieces simultaneously in a high-mix manufacturing environment
- Support operational decision-making through data analysis and planning
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of engineering within manufacturing experience
- Strong Excel and spreadsheet skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, workflow, and production environments
- Experience working with ERP systems
- Ability to make decisions and operate independently without constant direction
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Self-starter with a high-energy, entrepreneurial mindset
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift throughout the day
Compensation & Benefits
- $75,000-$95,000 salary based on experience
- Quarterly performance bonus opportunities
- Four-day work week (Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM)
