About the Role


We are seeking a meticulous and highly organized Product Development Associate to join our Product team. In this role, you will support the Head of Product in the end-to-end product lifecycle for Denim and RTW, from concept through bulk production, partnering closely with design, technical design, and operations teams. The ideal candidate has a genuine passion for denim, is a collaborative team player, and has an understanding of basic garment construction, raw materials, and washing/finishing.


Key Responsibilities


  • Support the company calendar from initial design handoff through bulk shipment ensuring key milestones are met on time.
  • Manage and track proto, PPS, TOP and SMS requests with vendors on a daily basis; track sample status, update internal records, resolve delays, and communicate updates to cross-functional partners as needed.
  • Partner with design and technical design to review, check in, and comment on fit samples to ensure corrections are clearly communicated to vendors.
  • Attend and prepare samples for weekly fittings.
  • Maintain accurate BOMs, trim cards, fabric submits and wash standards for seasonal, core, and specialty seasons.
  • Assist Head of Product with sourcing and tracking raw materials: Includes fabrics, trims, hardware, and labels with selected suppliers to ensure quality, price, and lead times align with our calendar milestones.
  • Issue and manage bulk trim, fabric, and garment purchase orders.
  • Manage weekly WIP charts with vendors to track production timelines, flag risks to the Head of Product and proactively come up with solutions to keep deliveries on schedule.
  • Maintain detailed production trackers covering PO status, sample approvals, ex-factory dates, and shipment readiness.
  • Act as a liaison between design, technical design, production, and operations teams.


Qualifications


  • 3–5 years of experience in product development and/or production, ideally within premium denim, luxury apparel, or contemporary ready-to-wear.
  • Understanding of garment construction, industry terminology, and tech pack management.
  • Prior experience managing overseas and domestic development/production.
  • Proficiency in Excel and systems; Adobe Illustrator a plus.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple styles, vendors, and deadlines without losing sight of detail.
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication; comfortable partnering with international vendors across time zones.
  • Bachelor’s degree focused on Product Management, Technical design, Apparel Production, Merchandising, or a related field.
