Production Associate

We are seeking entry-level Machine Operators to join our team in a blow molding plastics manufacturing company that specializes in producing plastic containers ranging from 0.5oz to 2.5 gallons across three production lines.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 15-minute meeting to start each shift.
• Rotate daily among assigned machines to maintain variety.
• Review work orders and execute tasks efficiently.
• Maintain consistent productivity throughout the shift.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures.

• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Capable of standing for the entire duration of the shift.
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and punctuality.
• Must demonstrate consistency in employment history.

• Previous work experience is preferred, ideally 6 months at a former or current job.
• Re-hire eligibility determined on a case-by-case basis.

Work Environment

Our facility boasts a 100,000 square foot climate-controlled manufacturing floor and warehouse space. Each shift aims for a target headcount of 12 machine operators. The workspace includes lockers and a lunchroom with refrigerators for all shifts. Typical work attire is comfortable, with t-shirts and jeans, and steel toe shoes are not required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Groton, NY.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
