Production Associate

The Production Associate will support the production of eyeglass components by monitoring automated machinery, performing routine procedures, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. This role helps keep production running smoothly by assisting with taping, edging, and detaping processes, stocking finished products, and promptly reporting any machine issues to ensure consistent quality and efficiency. This is a FULL TIME opportunity, offering WEEKLY PAY, and looking to INTERVIEW IMMEDIATELY!

Responsibilities

• Monitor machinery that tapes, edges, and detapes eyeglass components to ensure smooth and continuous operation.
• Perform routine procedures and tasks to keep production moving efficiently throughout the shift.
• Ensure machines are properly calibrated according to established guidelines and clear basic errors when necessary.
• Inspect products visually to confirm they meet quality standards before moving them to the next stage.
• Stock and organize finished products in the appropriate storage areas to maintain an efficient workflow.
• Clean production cells regularly and keep work areas organized to promote safety and productivity.
• Pay close attention to machine performance and product output, and promptly alert supervisors when a machine is not working correctly.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to support timely completion of production goals.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while operating or working near production equipment.
• Assist with general production, general labor, and cleaning tasks as needed to support overall manufacturing operations.

Essential Skills

• Previous production experience in a manufacturing or warehouse production environment.
• Experience with general production tasks such as inspection, general labor, and cleaning.
• Basic experience supporting machine operation or acting as a machine tender or machine operator helper.
• Strong attention to detail when monitoring machinery and inspecting products.
• Ability to stand on feet for the duration of the shift.
• Ability to follow established procedures and safety guidelines consistently.
• Comfort working in a manufacturing setting that is not weather controlled.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chester, PA.

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Chester,PA.
