Talent Groups is leading the search for a Product Owner for a leading distributor of industrial products serving commercial and infrastructure markets. This role will partner with field liaisons and business stakeholders to filter and prioritize demand into the product backlog for the team. The Product Owner will work closely with IT directors, peer scrum teams, stakeholders, field contacts and customers to ensure the success of these initiatives.
This is a 6 month contract to hire position working onsite.
To be immediately and seriously considered for this exceptional career opportunity, you must have the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner (or similar product leadership role) delivering digital products
- Experience managing customer-facing eCommerce websites/applications, portals, or other digital products end-to-end (discovery through delivery and iteration)
- Familiarity with leading multi-tenant site development on at least one industry-leading eCommerce platform
- Strong leadership, facilitation, and organizational skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority
- Hands-on experience working in Agile delivery frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) across the full product lifecycle, including backlog refinement and sprint planning
