Job Overview
Reporting to the Manager of Engineering Operations, the Product Owner will manage business requirements, enabling software development for OS, Platform, DevOps, SDK, API and Systems products.
Responsibilities
- Intake new feature requests
- Create business requirements to enable delivery of software addressing market, customer and/or business problems
- Provide product vision to development teams
- Work with Project Managers and Engineering Managers to estimate development, including dependencies across teams
- Maintain prioritized product backlog based on business value
- Evaluate change requests
- Define product requirements and acceptance criteria
- Lead business case development
- Participate in defect triage to help define priority based on business considerations
- Create measurable criteria to evaluate product, estimates, delivery, and cost
- Expected travel: 10% or less
Skills/Requirements
- Experienced professional in developing and leading execution of software development in a fast-paced, technology product development environment
- Experience gathering technical requirements and change management
- Experience working on and leading cross-functional projects
- Experience working with and leading project resources not under direct control (both external and internal)
- Experience in leading the delivery of products from design & development teams to internal or external production teams.
- Experience managing multiple cross-functional projects concurrently
- 3-5 years of experience as a Product Owner
- Bachelors degree required; BS in Computer Science or Engineering preferred
- Agile Scrum Certifications (e.g., CSPO, Pragmatic Marketing) preferred
- Gaming experience a plus
