We are seeking a Product Manager to support the modernization of an enterprise application platform used to manage membership and application review processes. This role will play a key part in a multi-year strategic initiative focused on improving operational efficiency, automating manual processes, and enhancing the overall user experience for internal stakeholders and external partners.
During the first phase of the initiative, the Product Manager will help deliver a modernized platform that introduces automation, advanced analytics, and AI-assisted capabilities while transitioning from a legacy system to a more advanced intelligence workspace. The role will partner closely with business, technology, and data teams to drive product strategy, manage feature development, and ensure successful delivery of modernization initiatives.
The product transformation aims to improve processing efficiency, enhance decision consistency, and increase stakeholder satisfaction while reducing operational costs through automation and improved workflows.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Strategy & Vision
Define and execute product strategy supporting the modernization of an application management platform.
Partner with business and technology stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation, improved workflows, and enhanced decision-support capabilities.
Translate business objectives into product requirements, roadmaps, and implementation plans.
Platform Modernization
Support migration from a legacy platform to a modern intelligence workspace that enables more efficient application processing and data analysis.
Drive development of automation capabilities including scoring models, triage workflows, and automated fee calculations.
Help implement AI-assisted research, document analysis, and summarization tools to improve efficiency and insight generation.
Product Planning & Delivery
Own and manage the product backlog, prioritizing features based on business value, operational impact, and delivery timelines.
Collaborate with engineering, data, and UX teams to design and deliver product enhancements.
Lead feature design discussions and coordinate delivery across cross-functional teams.
Track development progress and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
Operational Efficiency & Insights
Identify opportunities to streamline operational processes and reduce manual workloads.
Define metrics and success criteria to measure platform performance, operational efficiency, and user satisfaction.
Use product analytics and stakeholder feedback to guide continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with internal teams to understand operational pain points and develop solutions that improve productivity and consistency.
Communicate product updates, progress, and outcomes to leadership and key stakeholders.
Support adoption of new platform capabilities through documentation, training, and change management.
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience in product management, business analysis, or program management.
Experience working with technology teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple initiatives and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
Experience supporting modernization initiatives or legacy system migrations.
Familiarity with workflow automation, data-driven decision tools, or AI-enabled products.
Experience working with regulatory, compliance, or operational platforms.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in large organizations.
Hybrid work environment with both remote and in-office collaboration.
Occasional extended hours may be required during key project milestones.
