About the Role

Our client is seeking a Product Manager with experience working directly with software development teams and analyzing data to increase AI adoption across an engineering organization of ~8,500 developers. This is a data-driven role where you’ll analyze how developers are currently using AI and drive adoption of AI tools across the SDLC, with a goal of increasing usage from 40% to 80%. You’ll be part of a small, high-impact team focused on delivering measurable improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently pull, analyze, and interpret platform and developer usage data using Python, Excel, or similar tools to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for AI adoption across the SDLC.
  • Define and execute strategies to increase adoption of AI-enabled developer tools across engineering teams.
  • Partner with R&D, engineering, and platform teams to evaluate and roll out AI capabilities into CI/CD pipelines and development workflows to increase adoption.
  • Lead surveys, data collection, and feedback loops to identify adoption gaps and inform data-driven product decisions.
  • Build and manage a Community of Practice (CoP) and champion network of 25-100 developers, with structured sessions, clear action items, and measurable outcomes.
  • Present and defend data‑driven recommendations on AI adoption, usage patterns, and workflow improvements to technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Drive measurable outcomes tied to AI adoption, developer productivity, and platform usage metrics.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4-5 years of experience as a Product Manager working directly with software development teams and developer platforms.
  • Prior professional experience as a software engineer, software developer, data analyst, or business analyst.
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including CI/CD pipelines and version control (GitHub/GitLab).
  • Must have hands-on experience pulling and analyzing usage data (not just reviewing dashboards) to drive product decisions.
  • Direct experience independently analyzing datasets using Python (NumPy/pandas) or advanced Excel (pivot tables) and translating findings into clear recommendations.
  • Experience building, managing, or contributing to a community program, champion network, working group, or cross-functional forum.
  • Ability to present and defend data-driven recommendations to technical and executive stakeholders.
