The Opportunity


This is not a maintenance role. It is a growth mandate. HMP Global is seeking a commercially driven, strategically bold Product Director to define and lead the next phase of VIIA’s evolution. You will own the product vision, sharpen its competitive position, and transform untapped potential into measurable revenue growth. VIIA is already a strong product. Your mission is to make it category-defining.


You will clarify its market positioning, identify high-leverage expansion opportunities, strengthen its differentiation, and increase its strategic value within HMP Global’s broader portfolio. You will shape not only the roadmap—but the long-term trajectory of a high-value data asset central to our growth strategy.


Success in this role requires both strategic imagination and operational discipline. You must think in 12–24 month horizons while delivering near-term commercial wins. You must translate customer insight into product innovation—and product innovation into ARR growth, retention, and expansion. You will work cross-functionally with engineering, data science, sales, marketing, and executive leadership to ensure VIIA becomes an indispensable platform for pharmaceutical and life sciences partners.


Key Responsibilities


Define & Champion the Product Vision


  • Develop and articulate a 12–24 month product strategy aligned to company growth objectives.
  • Identify market opportunities, competitive gaps, and defensible differentiation strategies.
  • Translate strategy into a clear, outcome-driven roadmap with defined commercial impact.
  • Serve as the internal and external evangelist for VIIA’s value proposition.


Drive Revenue & Market Impact


  • Partner closely with sales to understand deal dynamics, objections, expansion pathways, and pricing sensitivity.
  • Shape monetization strategy, packaging, pricing models, and feature valuation.
  • Ensure roadmap decisions directly support revenue growth, retention, and customer lifetime value.
  • Engage key clients and prospects in strategic conversations that influence product direction.


Lead Strategic Product Development


  • Introduce rigor into product discovery, validation, and performance measurement.
  • Prioritize initiatives based on impact, scalability, and ROI.
  • Align engineering and stakeholders around clearly defined business outcomes—not just feature delivery.
  • Identify opportunities to integrate AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics to elevate VIIA’s capabilities.
  • Build a Data-Driven Product Culture
  • Establish meaningful KPIs tied to revenue performance and customer success.
  • Leverage customer insights, behavioral data, and usage analytics to inform decisions.
  • Implement structured feedback loops that continuously refine and strengthen the product.


Elevate Execution & Focus


  • Improve backlog discipline and development prioritization.
  • Balance long-term strategic initiatives with short-term commercial wins.
  • Make decisive trade-offs and protect focus on high-impact initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare data privacy and regulatory standards.


Qualifications


  • 7–10+ years of product management experience in SaaS, healthcare data platforms, analytics, or B2B technology.
  • Demonstrated success scaling products and driving measurable revenue growth.
  • Experience aligning product strategy to commercial metrics such as ARR, retention, pricing, and ROI.
  • Strong record of roadmap prioritization and cross-functional leadership.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare providers (HCPs), pharmaceutical commercialization, and data-driven engagement strategies.
