Procurement Specialist – Logistics (Hybrid | Contract)

$30–$34/hour (approx. $60K–$70K) | 7-Month Contract

We’re hiring two Procurement Specialists to support day-to-day purchasing across multiple logistics and distribution sites. This is a fast-paced, operations-focused role working closely with warehouse teams to keep materials, supplies, and services moving.

What You’ll Do

• Obtain and compare vendor quotes (RFQs)
• Create and manage purchase orders (POs)
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure on-time delivery
• Support site purchasing needs (supplies, services, basic equipment)
• Track orders, resolve issues, and maintain records in an ERP system (SAP or similar)
• Partner with warehouse teams across multiple locations to support daily operations

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain
• Experience creating purchase orders and managing vendor relationships
• Comfortable obtaining and evaluating quotes (RFQs)
• Strong organization and ability to manage multiple requests
• Experience in a warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or operations environment
• ERP experience (SAP preferred)
• Experience working with approved vendor/supplier lists
