Position: Procurement Specialist
Location: Atlanta, GA
Hybrid: 3 days onsite per week
Duration: Long-term
Please go through the job duties below:
1. Sourcing & Vendor Management
Identify and evaluate suppliers/vendors
Request and analyse RFQs, RFPs, and bids
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms
Build and maintain supplier relationships
Monitor supplier performance (quality, delivery, cost)
2. Cost Control & Negotiation
Negotiate the best possible pricing and terms
Conduct cost analysis and market benchmarking
Identify cost-saving opportunities
Support budget planning
3. Purchase Order & Contract Administration
Create and issue purchase orders (POs)
Ensure contracts comply with company policy
Track orders from placement to delivery
Resolve discrepancies (pricing, delivery delays, quality issues)
4. Inventory & Demand Coordination
Work with operations, finance, and warehouse teams
Forecast purchasing needs
Maintain optimal inventory levels
Avoid shortages or overstock situations
5. Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure suppliers meet legal and regulatory standards
Manage risk (supply chain disruptions, price volatility)
Maintain procurement documentation and audit trails
6. Reporting & Analytics
Track procurement KPIs (cost savings, on-time delivery, supplier performance)
Prepare reports for leadership
Analyse spend data
