Procurement Sourcing & Contracts Agent #25979

Blue Chip Talent is working with a growing organization and is seeking a skilled Procurement Agent. This role is responsible for processing procurement requests, issuing bids and quotes, and supporting purchasing activities in compliance with procurement policies! The procurement function is being built from the ground up, with evolving processes and operational challenges due to rapid organizational growth. This is a transformation-focused role, not a steady-state position. The candidate will help design, implement, and stabilize procurement processes, requiring a strategic, proactive mindset, not just execution.

Job Duties

• Process procurement requisitions over purchasing thresholds
• Issue RFQs, ITBs, and purchase orders
• Lead bid meetings, bid openings, and vendor discussions
• Evaluate supplier pricing, lead times, and compliance requirements
• Maintain vendor records and procurement documentation
• Monitor contract terms and vendor performance

Skills & Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Public Administration, or related field
• Purchasing or contract administration experience
• Experience with RFQs, ITBs, and purchase orders
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and procurement systems
• Knowledge of public procurement laws and purchasing policies
• Government or public sector purchasing experience
• Experience reviewing supplier quotes and contracts
• Experience in preparing procurement reports and documentation

Desired

• Experience supporting compliance and procurement documentation requests
• Experience in monitoring vendor performance against contract requirements
• Knowledge of bid meeting, bid opening, and supplier evaluation processes
