Extension is seeking a Process Engineer for a direct-hire opportunity with one of our clients located in Ripon, WI!
About the Company / Position
Join a leading high-volume manufacturer with a vertically integrated supply chain (~80% in-house) and ~60% market share. This Process Engineer role is hands-on, focused on assembly and finishing lines, driving improvements in safety, quality, and efficiency within a fast-paced plant environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and implement improvements in safety, quality, throughput, and cost
- Support and optimize manufacturing processes using Lean methods
- Troubleshoot production issues and support daily operations
- Conduct time and capability studies
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams
- Assist with equipment selection, tooling, and process development
- Participate in Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- BS in Mechanical, Chemical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering
- 2–4 years of experience in metal manufacturing, stamping, or finishing preferred
- Hands-on experience with assembly/finishing lines
- Knowledge of Lean, FMEA, root cause analysis, and process mapping
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Creo/AutoCAD a plus
Schedule & Salary
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- $95,000 – $105,000 base salary
- Onsite in Ripon, WI
