Opus Advisors is in growth mode! Our rapidly expanding team is hiring an Associate Recruiter to be based at our New York City headquarters office.

This is not a back-office recruiting job.

You will sit at the center of high-stakes hiring decisions—working directly with top-tier investors and advising exceptional candidates at pivotal moments in their careers. In addition to being introduced to a wide variety of investment strategies, you’ll gain an understanding of how elite investment firms hire. You’ll develop judgment around talent. And you’ll build a network that compounds over a lifetime.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with senior recruiters to execute searches for leading investment firms
• Map the landscape across investment banking, private equity, and alternative asset managers
• Identify and build relationships with high-caliber candidates early in their careers
• Conduct thoughtful interviews and write compelling candidate assessments
• Help shape search strategy, including target companies and positioning
• Manage candidate pipelines and drive processes forward with urgency
• Support interview coordination, client communication, and offer execution

Who You Are

• 1–2 years of experience in recruiting, investment banking, consulting, or a related field
• Intellectually curious with a genuine interest in financial markets
• A strong communicator who can build trust quickly and is client service oriented
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, with pride in your work
• Proactive, resourceful, and energized by a fast-paced environment
• High integrity and sound judgment—you handle sensitive information with care
• Team player who brings a positive attitude, can-do energy and a strong work ethic
