Private Equity Associate

CarterPierce is partnering with a fast-growing private equity firm to identify an Associate to join its investment team. This role offers broad exposure across the full investment lifecycle and the opportunity to work closely with senior investors and management teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and execute investments across software and tech-enabled services sectors
• Perform detailed financial modeling, valuation analysis, and return scenarios
• Lead and support due diligence processes, including coordination with third-party advisors
• Conduct industry research and market mapping to identify investment opportunities
• Assist in deal structuring, negotiation, and execution
• Support portfolio company initiatives, including strategic planning and performance analysis
• Prepare investment memos and materials for internal committees and stakeholders

Qualifications:

• 2–4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, financial due diligence, deal advisory, management consulting
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and valuation skillset
• Experience working on M&A transactions or principal investments
• Demonstrated interest in technology, software, or tech-enabled services
• High attention to detail with strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
