A leading private equity platform is seeking a Private Equity Accounting Manager to join its Operations Group. This is a highly visible role supporting fund and GP entity accounting across a complex, institutional investment structure.

What you’ll be driving

• End-to-end maintenance of LP & GP capital accounts (capital calls, distributions, allocations, partner economics)
• Cash planning and liquidity management across private equity entities
• Carry and waterfall analyses at both investment and fund level
• Preparation of financial statements and coordination of annual audits
• Transaction accounting and journal entries within partnership accounting systems
• Support for tax compliance, partner reporting, and investor deliverables
• Cross-functional coordination with legal, compliance, tax, and investor relations
• Ongoing process improvement, automation, and systems enhancements

What they’re looking for

• 5+ years of private equity / partnership accounting experience
• Strong technical foundation in fund accounting and capital structures
• Experience with partnership accounting systems (Investran / Private Capital Suite preferred)
• Advanced Excel skills (modeling, lookups, pivots, and complex reconciliations)
• CPA preferred (or actively pursuing)
• Strong communicator who can operate independently and across multiple stakeholders
• Detail-oriented, process-driven, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• A mindset geared toward improving efficiency, controls, and systems
