Job Title: Printer / Copier Field Service Technician
Location: Dallas, TX 75235
Pay Rate: $30.00/hr
Shift: Workday: Start/end time will vary, shift will be 8 hours/day within 7am - 6pm Monday thru Friday, to be scheduled by manager
On-call - Rotation (every 4 weeks): 6pm – 7am Monday thru Friday, 24x7 weekends and holidays.

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Printer / Copier Field Service Technician to support a large hospital environment. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing print and imaging equipment while ensuring high service quality and customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have strong electro-mechanical skills, hands-on experience with break/fix of printers/copiers, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain printers, copiers, and imaging devices
- Respond to service calls and meet SLA requirements
- Install equipment and manage device configurations
- Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled servicing
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions
- Manage and track parts inventory and consumables
- Provide meter reads and maintain accurate service documentation
- Train end-users on device usage and features
- Communicate service updates, ETA, and resolution status to customers
- Support print fleet optimization and device assessments
- Collaborate with operations and project teams during deployments
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of experience in printer/copier repair (break/fix)
- Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with imaging devices and print technologies
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls
- Basic computer skills for reporting and system updates
