Akkodis is seeking an Entry Level Print Operations Technician - Part-time job with a client in Erie, PA. Must hold a High School Diploma to be considered for this role. Will determine the time sensitive reports and high priority jobs to fulfill SLA's and due dates. Will produce quality output.Rate Range: $15/hr. to $16/hr. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.


Entry Level Print Operations Technician - Part-time responsibilities include:

  • Prioritizing and balancing the workload
  • Send the workload to multiple printers and balance the print volume across the fleet using Customer approved software
  • Loading printers and carts with multiple paper stocks
  • When the printer’s paper trays empty out they should be filled with the appropriate paper stock type needed for that paper tray to reduce cycling down time
  • The carts for which the multiple paper stocks are being pulled off of for use will be refilled to appropriate levels
  • Unloading output off of the printers
  • Taking output off the printers and taking it to a worktable to be separated
  • Paper clipping, rubber banding, or wrapping the output based on size
  • Numbering the output stacks for larger jobs
  • Loading clean, undamaged, paper into the printers
  • Quality checking the output coming off the printer correct paper, wrinkled, physical/visual status etc.
  • Separating reports
  • Check start and end banner sheets to make sure they match
  • Paper clipping, rubber banding, or wrapping the output based on size
  • Numbering the output stacks for larger jobs for others to utilize
  • Put output on appropriate designated carts for distribution to other areas


Desired Qualifications:

  • High School Diplma field is required.
  • Minimum One-year related experience.
  • Previous experience in printing operations or printing press environment.
  • Experience in working with manufacturing machinery or tooling equipment will be considered.
  • Previous experience providing basic maintenance of printing equipment or manufacturing based equipment.
  • Ability to maintain a high quality of work output.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
