Principle Systems Cyber Security Engineerfor a contract position in
Marlborough MA, Woburn MA, or Tewksbury MA.. This is a
6 month positionand you
must be a
US Citizen to apply. Required: US Citizenship and Residency, W2 hourly Contract Only, No 1099, No third parties, no C2C. No exceptions (Sorry)
Pay: $88.75 to $98.75/hr. D.O.E. *Must have a Secret Clearance to Start*PRINCIPLE SYSTEMS CYBER SECURITY ENGINEER- Interact with the customer to define SSE requirements, solutions, trades, costs, implementation, system impacts, and effectiveness
- Develop plans and estimates, task execution, project tracking, reporting, and risk identification and mitigation plans
- Ensure compliance with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Risk Management Framework (RMF) controls
- Consult and assist program management with SSE architecture and issues
- Support the development of bids and proposals
- Define security development and test efforts implementation of security controls of networking devices, databases, operating systems, and hardware and software component
- Integrate cybersecurity development activities
- Develop top-level system requirements and flow down requirements and implementation concepts to subsystem
- Understanding, and compliance with, DoD technology release and export licensing policies
Qualifications You Must Have- Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 8 years of prior relevant experience
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Experience in technical leadership
- Experience in System Security Engineering, computer technology reverse engineering, Anti-Tamper, cybersecurity or embedded security
- Experience designing, implementing, testing, and fielding real-time embedded security-oriented solutions on Department of Defense (DoD) programs with secure systems technologies, methodologies, policies, and guidelines
- Experience generating security (cyber, Anti-Tamper and/or program protection) requirements, design and architecture artifacts, plans, and/or policies
Qualifications We Prefer- DoD Top Secret clearance with current SSBI within last 5 years desired
- Experience in design, development and fielding of SSE systems
- Software, Firmware, & Microelectronics Engineering, Cryptography and FPGA design
- Attack threat modeling / Critical Program Information Assessments
- Attack threat modeling / Critical Program Information Assessments
- Experience in the implementation and business growth of SSE implementation throughout the entire life cycle
- Experience in solutions meeting robust SSE systems security requirements
- Cyber Certifications in accordance with DoDD 8570/DoDD 8140 such as CISSP, GSLC, CEH
- Broad understanding of technology and working knowledge of DODI-S-5230.28
- Aircraft/weapons integration experience
- Strategic planning and proposal writing skills
- Candidate must exhibit an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness
