Principle Systems Cyber Security Engineer needed: Marlborough MA, Woburn MA, or Tewksbury MA. *Must have a Secret Clearance to Start*We have an opening with a great client of ours and we are looking for a Principle Systems Cyber Security Engineerfor a contract position in Marlborough MA, Woburn MA, or Tewksbury MA.. This is a6 month positionand youmust be a US Citizen to apply. Required: US Citizenship and Residency, W2 hourly Contract Only, No 1099, No third parties, no C2C. No exceptions (Sorry)Pay: $88.75 to $98.75/hr. D.O.E. *Must have a Secret Clearance to Start*PRINCIPLE SYSTEMS CYBER SECURITY ENGINEER
  • Interact with the customer to define SSE requirements, solutions, trades, costs, implementation, system impacts, and effectiveness
  • Develop plans and estimates, task execution, project tracking, reporting, and risk identification and mitigation plans
  • Ensure compliance with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Risk Management Framework (RMF) controls
  • Consult and assist program management with SSE architecture and issues
  • Support the development of bids and proposals
  • Define security development and test efforts implementation of security controls of networking devices, databases, operating systems, and hardware and software component
  • Integrate cybersecurity development activities
  • Develop top-level system requirements and flow down requirements and implementation concepts to subsystem
  • Understanding, and compliance with, DoD technology release and export licensing policies
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 8 years of prior relevant experience
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Experience in technical leadership
  • Experience in System Security Engineering, computer technology reverse engineering, Anti-Tamper, cybersecurity or embedded security
  • Experience designing, implementing, testing, and fielding real-time embedded security-oriented solutions on Department of Defense (DoD) programs with secure systems technologies, methodologies, policies, and guidelines
  • Experience generating security (cyber, Anti-Tamper and/or program protection) requirements, design and architecture artifacts, plans, and/or policies
Qualifications We Prefer
  • DoD Top Secret clearance with current SSBI within last 5 years desired
  • Experience in design, development and fielding of SSE systems
  • Software, Firmware, & Microelectronics Engineering, Cryptography and FPGA design
  • Attack threat modeling / Critical Program Information Assessments
  • Attack threat modeling / Critical Program Information Assessments
  • Experience in the implementation and business growth of SSE implementation throughout the entire life cycle
  • Experience in solutions meeting robust SSE systems security requirements
  • Cyber Certifications in accordance with DoDD 8570/DoDD 8140 such as CISSP, GSLC, CEH
  • Broad understanding of technology and working knowledge of DODI-S-5230.28
  • Aircraft/weapons integration experience
  • Strategic planning and proposal writing skills
