Job SummaryThis position is based onsite (hybrid schedule eligible) in our Leonardo DRS Naval Electronics Sensors Center of Excellence located in Largo, FL.
Responsible for performing as a high-level, individual contributing Program Manager for the Naval Electronics RF/Sensors line of business (LOB). This includes full life cycle management (development, production, and sustainment) of the RF/Sensors LOB.
Job ResponsibilitiesEnsures proper methods are followed to track program cost, schedules and performance across RF/Sensors LOB. Lead and/or support bid and proposal activities. Manages and ensures the timely completion of contract requirements for production programs from start to completion to ensure that costs, schedule, lead times, capacity and goals are met. Assists in providing contractual interface, communication and coordination with internal and external customer on matters pertaining to existing production operations contracts. Uses specific knowledge in production operations and planning to research, plan, communicate and achieve objectives through program/project team. Facilitate the input from Operations to ensure production readiness for new programs and awards. Engage in production engineering decisions during new product integration.
U.S. Citizenship required. This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
