ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Client is seeking a Principal Planning Analytics Consultant to support a high-impact, project-based initiative focused on demand planning and supply chain analytics. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical expert who can bridge advanced data engineering with real-world manufacturing and supply chain processes to drive measurable business outcomes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and develop advanced analytics solutions using Python and Snowflake SQL
- Build and deploy full-stack data applications and interactive dashboards
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing and supply chain processes
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitHub automation workflows
- Implement cloud-native and containerized solutions for enterprise-scale applications
- Lead agile sprint activities including daily standups and sprint planning
- Drive ROI-focused analytics initiatives that deliver measurable business impact
- Manage large-scale relational datasets and ensure data integrity across environments
- Communicate technical insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Minimum of five years of professional experience in data science within manufacturing or supply chain environments
- At least three years of experience working with ERP or MRP systems and data
- Advanced proficiency in Python and Snowflake SQL
- Strong experience with Snowflake architecture and data platform management
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, SIGMA, QlikView, or Streamlit
- Experience working with large relational datasets and data wrangling techniques
- Proven ability to communicate complex concepts clearly across diverse audiences
- Experience working in agile development environments
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with ERP implementations for finance or operations
- Familiarity with rapid application development methodologies
- Experience with cloud-native deployments and containerization
- Proficiency with GitHub automation, CI/CD pipelines, and workflow management
- Experience with APIs, service accounts, and secure development practices
- Knowledge of test-driven development and rollback strategies
- Experience with data visualization libraries such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Plotly
- Experience leading cross-functional teams across multiple geographies
- Demonstrated ability to drive business impact and ROI through analytics initiatives
