Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Principal Integration Solution Architect to lead the design, implementation, and governance of enterprise-wide integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep experience designing scalable, secure, and resilient integrations across ERP, CRM, SaaS, and custom applications, with a strong understanding of manufacturing and enterprise business processes. This role will serve as a technical leader and strategic partner, ensuring integrations support business priorities and long-term architectural standards.

Highlights of your role

  • Architect, design, and oversee enterprise integration solutions across ERP, cloud platforms, and third-party systems.
  • Define integration standards, patterns, and best practices (APIs, event-driven architectures, middleware).
  • Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of integration technologies and platforms.
  • Organize a team of integration developers for the structuring of development efforts through to completion.
  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable integration architectures.
  • Ensure integrations meet security, performance, reliability, and compliance requirements.
  • Develop and maintain integration architecture documentation, diagrams, and operational runbooks.
  • Mentor and guide integration developers and engineers, promoting architectural best practices.
  • Lead proof-of-concept development to rapidly iterate on solutions to validate patterns and working theories

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in integration architecture, solution architecture, or enterprise systems integration.
  • Strong experience integrating ERP platforms (Dynamics 365, SAP, or similar) with enterprise applications.
  • Demonstrated expertise in API design, messaging, and event-driven integration patterns.
  • Technical skillset including fluency in SQL, JSON, scripting language (e.g. Groovy), and demonstrated success with a specific integration technology
  • Experience working in complex enterprise environments, preferably within manufacturing.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and system design skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work independently, lead through influence, and collaborate across teams.

Also want to make sure you have

  • Familiarity with iPaaS platforms such as Boomi, MuleSoft, or Informatica.
  • Experience with data integration, ETL processes, and master data management concepts.
  • Knowledge of cloud-native and hybrid integration architectures.
  • Understanding of manufacturing systems such as MES and their integration with ERP platforms.
  • Ability to actively manage integration complexity and system dependencies while aligning solutions to business value.
