This position will be in Huntsville, Alabama and will support the TGE/BONES program.
Job Description:
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
The selected engineer will be responsible for filling the role of Platform Lead. This position requires managing the Fixed Site architecture. Tasks include:
Bringing together the work of multiple teams, internal (NG) and external (non-NG), to manage the System of Systems architecture.
Manage face-to-face communication between the customer and the teams, ensuring the requirements of the customer are understood and met.
Briefing leadership and customer on architecture status.
Basic qualifications:
Experience: 5 Years with Bachelors; 3 Years with Masters; 1 Year with PhD.
Secret Clearance or ability to obtain
Travel requirements: 10%
MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel)
Experience utilizing Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence)
