As a Principal Consultant – Power Apps within WSP’s Transformation & Digital Insights team, you will providehigh‑level technical leadership and shape the digital automation strategy across global programmes. You will architect, develop, and govern enterprise‑grade Power Platform solutions—enabling workflow modernization, operational efficiency, and AI‑driven transformation across disciplines.
You will lead the delivery of complex multi‑disciplinary digital projects, oversee and mentor junior developers, maintain strong client relationships, and act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders. You will drive innovation, standards, and best practices while contributing to bids, resource planning, platform governance, and the long‑term strategic roadmap for digital transformation at WSP.
DIGITAL STRATEGY & LEADERSHIP
▪ Define and lead the Digital Automation and Low-Code Strategy, focusing on workflow modernization, operational efficiency, and AI‑enabled business transformation.
▪ Serve as the enterprise authority on Power Platform, Dataverse, and automation architecture.
▪ Support stakeholders on digital opportunities, emerging technologies, governance models, and optimisation strategies.
▪ Contribute to the team’s long‑term digital roadmap and support organisational transformation programmes.
SOLUTION ARCHITECTURE & ENTERPRISE INTEGRATION
▪ Own and maintain the Enterprise Integration Architecture, ensuring seamless data flow between Oracle Fusion
Cloud, M365, Teams, Dynamics 365, and external business applications.
▪ Design secure, scalable architectures for Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, and SharePoint Online.
▪ Lead API integrations, data modelling, ALM pipelines, and CI/CD deployment processes for enterprise
applications.
POWER PLATFORM DEVELOPMENT & TECHNICAL DELIVERY
▪ Architect, design, and build Canvas Apps, Model‑Driven Apps, Power Pages, and workflow automation solutions.
▪ Build robust applications using Power Fx, Dataverse, and Power Automate, including cloud flows, RPA flows, and AI‑enhanced flows.
▪ Deliver advanced workflow automation – AI‑driven routing, approvals, exception handling, and multi‑system orchestration.
▪ Configure and extend Dataverse, including table design, relationships, security roles, business rules,
synchronous/asynchronous plug‑ins, and API-based integrations.
▪ Apply strong ALM and DevOps practices, Git‑based version control, automated deployments, and governance across development, test, and production.
▪ Leverage AI Builder, Microsoft Copilot Studio, LLM Agents, and intelligent automation tools to enable document understanding, predictions, classification, and conversational automation experiences.
▪ Build and enhance SharePoint Online apps and components using SPFx, modern frameworks, and workflow automation integrated with Power Platform
▪ Create integrated Power BI dashboards, connecting Power Apps, Dataverse, Oracle Fusion, and other enterprise systems for real‑time insights.
▪ Automate ETL pipelines, scheduled data refreshes, rule‑driven alerts, and compliance notifications for pipeline, utilisation, and operational intelligence.
▪ Implement and enforce data governance standards, covering data quality, lifecycle management, architecture consistency, security controls, and compliance frameworks.
PROJECT LEADERSHIP & TEAM MANAGEMENT
▪ Lead end‑to‑end delivery of digital workstreams, managing scope, risks, timelines, and quality.
▪ Mentor and review work of junior developers, ensuring architectural consistency and technical quality.
▪ Work across GCC, UK and global teams, coordinating distributed development resources.
▪ Represent Digital & Insights in client meetings, steering committees, and solution design sessions.
Essential Skills
▪ 12+ years in digital transformation, Power Platform development, or enterprise automation roles.
Deep expertise in:
o Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven)
o Dataverse
o Power Automate (cloud flows, RPA, AI flows)
o Power BI and M365 ecosystem
o REST APIs, JSON, OAuth, Azure AD, Graph API
▪ Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud, SQL Server/Azure SQL, and enterprise data integration patterns.
▪ Strong experience with ALM, DevOps, GitHub/ADO Pipelines, and environment management.
▪ Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and client advisory skills.
▪ Proven experience leading teams and mentoring junior developers.
Desirable Skills
▪ Certifications: PL‑100, PL‑200, PL‑400, AZ‑900, AZ‑204.
▪ Experience with Azure ecosystem: Functions, Logic Apps, Key Vault, Blob Storage.
▪ Experience with SPFx, TypeScript, React, or JavaScript
▪ Knowledge of Dynamics 365 CE/CRM integration scenarios
▪ Experience in AI/ML‑enabled automation and large-scale workflow optimisation.
