This is a senior consulting role for a recognized Thermal expert who applies Vertiv’s proprietary consulting frameworks, digital tools, and intellectual property to assess, architect, and roadmap facility Thermal environments — including high‑density and AI‑driven workloads.

Key Responsibilities

1. Senior Thermal Consulting Delivery

Define AI thermal readiness and liquid cooling adoption pathways, ensuring conclusions are technically rigorous and executive‑actionable.

2. System‑Generated Architecture & Design Authority
Translate assessment outputs into standardized thermal architectures and repeatable recommendations aligned to Vertiv reference architectures and global consulting standards.
Drive clear decisioning on air vs liquid cooling approaches and retrofit vs greenfield thermal strategies.

3. Roadmap Development & Investment Sequencing
Develop phased roadmaps aligned to power density growth and operational readiness, linking thermal evolution to follow‑on services and hardware pull‑through.

4. Consulting IP & Framework Contribution
Contribute thermal benchmarks, reference architectures, and improvements to assessment logic and assumptions, strengthening Vertiv’s consulting IP and digital thread.

5. Technical Leadership & Mentorship
Mentor consultants and senior consultants, review deliverables, elevate rigor, and reinforce system‑based delivery discipline.

Engage customers as a senior thermal authority; translate thermal complexity into executive decisions and support presales where needed.

Qualifications

10+ years in data center thermal engineering, operations, or consulting; deep expertise in high‑density and AI cooling challenges; experience with liquid cooling architectures; strong ability to translate thermal complexity into executive decisions.
