Title: Principal Application Architect (Enterprise Architect)
Location: Remote (Travel to Columbus, OH as needed – typically quarterly)
Duration: Contract-to-Hire (Minimum 6 months)
Experience Level: 10+ Years (Senior/Principal)
Role Overview
We’re looking for a Principal Application Architect / Enterprise Architect to lead end-to-end architecture strategy across large-scale enterprise programs. This is a high-impact, client-facing role where you’ll shape architecture across business, application, cloud, infrastructure, and security domains—driving solutions that support critical healthcare initiatives.
You’ll work closely with leadership, PMO, engineering teams, and customers to define architecture, influence decisions, and ensure scalable, compliant, and high-performing systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Define end-to-end enterprise architecture across applications, cloud, infrastructure, and security
- Lead architecture strategy and roadmap development for large accounts
- Conduct architecture impact assessments and solution evaluations
- Present solutions to Architecture Review Boards (ARB)
- Collaborate with PMO, engineering, infrastructure, and client stakeholders
- Drive architecture governance and best practices
- Mentor and guide junior architects and technical teams
- Ensure compliance with State and Federal standards
