Punch Press Operator | First Shift | West Chester, OH

We are currently hiring an experienced Punch Press Setup / Operator for a full-time, first shift position. This role is responsible for setting up and operating punch presses and related equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Candidates must have previous press setup experience in a fabrication/metal manufacturing setting and be comfortable reading blueprints and using precision measuring tools.

• Set up and operate 45–300 ton punch presses, coilers, and other factory equipment

• Perform partial and complete setups, and assist with machine setup as needed

• Read and follow work orders, blueprints, and written instructions

• Load and start coils of material and monitor production runs

• Check parts for quality using calipers, micrometers, and verniers

• Make continuous improvements to production processes when possible

• Train other employees on press operation, setup, and safety procedures

• Operate additional equipment as needed within the department

Big plus if you have experience with

• Coil-fed presses
• Progressive or transfer dies
• Die setup/changeovers
• Sheet metal fabrication or press brake equipment

• Minimum 3 years of experience in press setup, press operation, and feed operation

• Ability to read basic blueprints and work instructions

• Strong mechanical ability and attention to detail

• Ability to perform basic and applied math

• Experience using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, verniers)

• Ability to work independently and assist with training others

• Able to pass a background and drug screen

Mon-Thurs 6am-4:30pm (4x 10 hour shifts)

Pay:

$20-26/hr based on experience
