Job Summary
The Flexographic Press Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining a servo-driven narrow web flexographic/digital hybrid press. This role ensures high-quality label production while minimizing waste and downtime.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate flexographic and digital hybrid printing presses
Prepare press for production, including loading substrates and installing tooling
Mount plates, adjust print settings, and ensure proper press configuration
Monitor ink, substrate, and tooling to meet production specifications
Adjust ink flow, press speed, and drying temperatures as needed
Troubleshoot print and mechanical issues to reduce downtime and waste
Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning, oiling, and minor repairs
Ensure jobs meet quality and production standards
Qualifications
Proven experience operating flexographic presses (Mark Andy, Nilpeter, MPS, Omet, or similar)
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
High attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
Good communication and teamwork skills
Physically capable of standing, lifting, and performing press operation tasks
