Job Description

The position of Press Assistant involves general labor responsibilities within a production and warehouse environment. The role requires assisting machine operators, moving pallets using a forklift, stacking boxes, and helping wherever needed in the production area. A reliable individual with a positive attitude and punctuality is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Machine Operator with tasks related to operating large Slitter Machines.
• Load and unload rolls of material on and off machines.
• Operate a forklift to move pallets and materials efficiently.
• Verify the Machine Operator's measurements and specifications, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Participate in machine changeovers and maintain a clean work area.
• Perform packaging and other duties as directed.
• Receive training on various warehouse duties.

Essential Skills

• Forklift experience
• Experience in machine operation and production
• Ability to use tape measures and read measurements
• General labor skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• At least 6 months of machine operating or manufacturing experience
• At least 6 months of forklift experience
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours a day
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and using measurements

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, MN.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Saint Paul,MN.
