Preconstruction Manager / Senior Estimator
Location: Lehigh County, PA
Salary: $90,000 – $130,000 + Benefits
The Role
I’m working with a General Contractor looking to hire a Preconstruction Manager / Senior Estimator.
You’ll be involved in estimating, reviewing drawings, pricing work, managing subcontractor bids, and supporting projects before construction starts.
Projects include warehouse, industrial, retail, commercial interiors, and tenant improvement work. The company has a strong pipeline of work and good long-term growth opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Prepare estimates and budgets for commercial construction projects
- Review drawings, specifications, and project documents
- Manage subcontractor pricing, bid packages, and scope reviews
- Support budgeting, value engineering, and preconstruction planning
- Work closely with project teams, subcontractors, and leadership throughout the process
Preferred Experience
Experience in any of the following is a plus:
- Warehouse / industrial projects
- Retail or big-box construction
- Commercial interiors / tenant improvements
- Ground-up commercial construction
- Site work or development projects
Requirements
- Experience in estimating or preconstruction within commercial construction
- Strong understanding of drawings, budgets, bids, and subcontractor scopes
- Stable work history preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Project, ASTA, or estimating software is beneficial
Salary & Benefits
- $90,000 – $130,000 base salary depending on experience
