Job Description:

• Play a key role in leading remediation projects by leveraging PLS-CADD and PLS Pole to address advanced issues identified for drone inspections and pole and conductor replacement QAQC, unsupervised.
• Analyze LiDAR data, intrusive records, and drone imagery to accurately diagnose and resolve advanced issues at in office and at client facilities in the field, unsupervised.
• Oversee multiple remediation projects concurrently, ensuring high-quality, timely deliverables, unsupervised.
• Develop and refine processes to improve efficiency and accuracy in new project execution.
• Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to junior engineers, sharing best practices and insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including field engineers, designers, and project managers to ensure seamless project integration.
• Proactively propose and implement new ideas, techniques, and processes to enhance current practices.
• Adapt quickly to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, applying an entrepreneurial mindset to problem-solving.
• Review and reply to Requests for Information from engineering and construction to ensure projects proceed in a timely fashion.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• 1 year of hands-on experience using PLS-CADD.
• Work experience to include: (1) Electric utility pole design. (2) Utility pole construction and equipment. (3) PLS Pole software. (4) Analyzing LiDAR data and drone imagery. (5) Utility pole design standards and construction standards. (6) Electric utility distribution systems. (7) Managing or leading utility engineering projects. (8) Mentoring or training junior engineering staff. (9) Collaborating in cross-functional engineering teams.
• 40 hrs./wk.
• Salary: $89,814 to $135,000/yr.
