The primary responsibility of the Pot Washer is to perform a variety of janitorial duties and maintain cleanliness of assigned areas. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices and procedures
Set-up and operate 3 compartment sinks
Clean kettles and tilt skillets.
Clean/Sanitize, sort, and store pots/pans/sheet pans in their proper locations on the shelves
Receives soiled dinnerware, flatware, and glassware, placing items according to size and
likeness on automatic dishwashing conveyor belt
Removes washed dinnerware, flatware, and glassware from automatic dishwasher and stacks
them according to size and likeness for future use
Returns items not satisfactorily cleaned for a second wash
Scrubs walls and trash cans
Breakdown, load, unload, catches, and properly sort all dishes, glassware and flatware as it is brought to the dish area.
Wash baseboards, floor drains, hand sinks, tables and cutting boards
Sweep and mop all floors, coolers, freezers and wash all floor mats · Transport garbage from kitchen areas to trash room
Polish silver, copper and brass in all areas as needed · Perform all other job-related duties as requested
