A postdoctoral training position is available in the laboratory of Lu Sun Assistant Professor, in the department of Molecular Biology at UT Southwestern Medical Center to study the basic biology underlying the most numberous cells (called "glia") in the nervous system. We aim to address the fundamental principles foverning neuron-glia interactions in health and disease. Our laboratory research areas include the investigation of myelination and remyelination mechanisms, charaterization of glial cells in devlopment and neurological diseases, and the generation of novel toolkits to study neuron-glia communication.
