Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily post-machining activities within the clean room, including precision cleaning, deburring, inspection, assembly, and sterile or controlled packaging.
- Enforce strict clean room protocols such as gowning, material handling, environmental monitoring, and contamination control procedures.
- Ensure all products meet cleanliness and quality standards, coordinating closely with Quality Assurance and Engineering teams.
- Monitor and maintain clean room conditions (particle counts, airflow, temperature, humidity) in compliance with required classifications (e.g., ISO Class standards).
- Train and mentor employees on clean room behavior, aseptic techniques, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Investigate and resolve non-conformances related to contamination, cleanliness, or product quality.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing contamination risk, improving throughput, and increasing efficiency.
- Collaborate with upstream machining and downstream operations to ensure seamless production flow while maintaining clean room integrity.
- Maintain accurate production, training, and compliance documentation for audits and inspections.
- Support internal and external audits, ensuring readiness and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Manage team scheduling, staffing, and performance evaluations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, engineering, or related field preferred.
- 3–5+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in clean room, medical device, aerospace, or semiconductor environments.
- 1–2+ years of supervisory or team lead experience.
- Strong understanding of clean room classifications (ISO 7, ISO 8, etc.) and contamination control principles.
- Experience with precision cleaning methods, inspection tools, and quality systems.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485, GMP) is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and basic computer applications.
Working Conditions:
- Clean room manufacturing environment requiring full gowning (coveralls, gloves, masks, hairnets, etc.).
- Extended periods of standing, attention to detail, and repetitive tasks.
- Controlled environment with strict behavioral and material handling requirements.
- May require shift work, overtime, or weekend coverage based on production demands.

For candidates based in Minnesota: The pay range for this position is $79,600 - $135,300 annually.
Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure, and relevant education or training.
