JOB SUMMARY:Fellowships are designed to provide advanced training in professional psychology to qualified applicants. This program prepares fellows for licensure in the State of Minnesota or any other state with similar requirements. Fellows receive robust, advanced training in many key professional competencies. These competencies are enhanced through direct clinical service with supervision from expert licensed psychologists and psychotherapists, participation in seminars, clinical meetings, and conferences, and consultation with other professionals outside the clinic. In addition, fellows participate in some senior staff meetings and work groups. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Supports and demonstrates Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families and with co-workers. Patients of all ages served.
Depending on openings, fellowship settings may be offered in the following sites:
Adult Fellowship: The Behavioral Health Adult Services focuses on the assessment and treatment of older adolescents and adults in the CentraCare Health Plaza, which is a large, ambulatory specialty care service that provides optimal collaboration and co-located services. The Plaza includes several medical specialty health care clinics and services in a beautiful facility. Behavioral Health providers include psychologists, psychotherapists, psychiatrists, and advanced practice providers.
Child Fellowship: The Behavioral Health Child and Adolescent Clinic assesses and treats children, adolescents, and families in the CentraCare Health Plaza in a large, ambulatory specialty care building that offers optimal co-located services. The Plaza includes several medical specialty health care clinics and services in a beautiful facility. Behavioral Health providers include psychologists, psychotherapists, psychiatrists, and advanced practice providers.
Integrated Behavioral Health Fellowship: Fully integrated Behavioral Health Services are provided in a number of primary and specialty care locations. There are also opportunities to participate in our consultation and liaison services in our hospital inpatient campus and and emergency room services. Behavioral Health providers include psychologists, psychotherapists, psychiatrists, and advanced practice providers.
