Job Summary:
As a Pool Host/Hostess you will be responsible for initial guest interaction at the door and escorting all hotel guests to appropriate seating at the pool. The ideal candidate is expected to embody the hospitality, charm, and professionalism of our resort. Duties include greeting & seating guests, answering phones, directing guests to the bar, and maintaining the flow of service throughout the pool. Must be pleasant, conscientious and professional with excellent hospitality instincts and drive to provide customer service. Must be able to operate effectively as part of a team, communicate clearly, and ensure smooth service operations and quality service.

What we need from you:
Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
Must have at least 1 year experience in a food and beverage operation, luxury hotel and or fine dining experience a plus
Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Must possess basic computer skills.
Must be familiar with RESY, Seven Rooms and Open Table or similar reservation system
Must be able to exert well-paced ability in limited space
Must be able to must be able to exert well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously
Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
What you can expect from us:
The hourly pay rate for this role is $26.52 to $33.15. This rate is only applicable for jobs to be performed at Regent Santa Monica Beach.
